I must say i have pushed my limits for this round, not only for the 1st in my life time, i experienced 4 mocktails at the same time ( even with special request to level down the lequer percentage) , its definately one of my biggest attempt in 2014 or should i say my entire life. But with the spectacular views and stylish roof top lounge , i have no doubts but to give in and give it a try...
It must be the spectacular view at HALO , so relaxing that i decided to push my boundaries experiencing the most recommendable cocktails specially served by Mr Ad , the F&B manager and his collegues of Hotel WANGZ .
HALO meant A circle of light shown around or above the head of a saint or holy person to represent their holiness. And i was told by Ms Zhi Ling, the Marketing and Communication manager of Hotel WANGZ its named after the structure of the roof top bar curved aluminium facade, try looking up while you are sipping your fresh martinis or signature mocktails, and you will know what i meant, cleverly named!
With a good selections of creative and exclusive cocktail & Martini Creations makes HALO one of the best chill out lounge in the cultural Tiong Bahru. With selections of premium wines and exclusive beers, HALO roof top lounge also serves light bites that compliment your choice of drinks. I personally recommend "Chicken Lollipops W/Blue Cheese Dip" and under the grill, "U.S. Kurobuta Baby Pork Ribs" served with pineapple sauce, feels like heaven...
all Fresh martinis uses premium fruits and its all freshly mixed before served , something different from the usual fruit juice or traditaional martinis
not only for the 1st in my life time , i experienced the most martinis , i gets to SHAKE my own fresh martini under professional guidiance by MR Ad , which makes the overall Martini experience knowledgeble and complete
voila, my very own creation "PERSIMMON+PEACH MARTINI" which was one of my favourite
( even i have never tasted Persimmon fruit ) now i have a new way having the freshness of persimmon while chilling out
another recommendable fresh martini by HALO , the KIWI MARTINI: DQ vodka, Kiwi, Pineapple , Peach Liquer, Midori and Agave Nectar, trust me , refreshing for the mind and soul
